Not astounding, but better than 15kbyte/sec. Pete, this proportion pretty much agrees with what we've seen. In timing tests to see how long it takes to launch an application over the network from an AppleShare server, there was an approximately threefold increase in speed when running over EtherTalk than when running over LocalTalk.
