Does anyone have a program to manage memos?

You know how you can be working along on something and have some thought
pop into your head which you want/need to record? Well, at that point I'd
like to run the memo program, enter a line or two of text and return to
what I was doing.

Later, when I have time, I'd like to read the list of memo's, act on one
or more and then selectively delete the ones which are no longer needed.

Email source?                     ==> Yes, immediately
FTP ability?                      ==> None at all
Anonymous UUCP capability?        ==> Yes, but prefer Email
Interested in comercial products? ==> No
Desired language(s)               ==> C
