There are at present two programs for the Amiga that will control the X10 directly. These may save you some work. One was written in AmigaBasic several years ago. I have been using it for that long and it works well. About 6 months ago someone else wrote some C code to do the same. The interface is not as nice but is sufficient. Both are on Genie in the X10 RT library.
