After three long long nights I've come quite close to the problem: uucico V0.5 has obviously some bugs in it. Although it should send a break when it finds the statement BREAK in the L.sys file, it doesn't. I've then included a new option to be checked for in the L.sys, \k. If uucico find it then it really sends a break. After this and the L.sys entry ... "" \r\r "" \k "" \r\r "" \k ogin: ... it works, but only if the debug level is greater than 2, and even then not always. I think this is a timing problem. Debug level 3 makes much more screen output and is thus slower than debug 2 or less. I believe that's the problem. A 38400 baud connection with a my 68020 processor and the HST is obviously a bit too much for uucico. Anyway, it's rather strange.... -- ---------------------------------------- Chris Brand - wizard@sosaria.ccs.imp.com "Justice is the possession and doing of what one is entitled to" - Platon ----------------------------------------
