In the meantime, anyone who >buys a REV 6 motherboard is potentially getting screwed! I do not [stuff deleted] The key word here is "Potentially". I bought a 2000 with a 6.0 motherboard, a HardFrame, and an 8-Up! with 2 megs RAM, but I've had absolutely no problems with it. In fact, it has been much less troublesome than my old 500 (which is gone now, BTW). One thing I did do, though: I replaced the 68000 with a 68010 (ceramic, 10 MHz). I tend to doubt that this makes a difference, but I've heard rumors that there are some bad CPUs floating around in the 6.0 motherboards. >Jim Sanchez {sun, hplabs}!sytek!syteke!jim OR >Hughes LAN Systems, Brussels mcvax!prlb2!sunbim!syteke!jim *-----------------------------------------------------------------* Dan Cogswell "Gangster Fun -- It's the beat (313)625-3234 that you can wig-out to..." cogswell@unix.secs.oakland.edu *-----------------------------------------------------------------*
