It is a way of distributing the work load for programs, etc. across various machines (i.e. utilizing the cpu's to the max to get a job done). Some questions in my mind are 1) how well does it perform in actuality, 2) how hard is it to get up and running on (say for example) a network of suns? I am looking to answers to these and many other questions. Any input on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Please e-mail me at jozwiak@cpsvax.cps.msu.edu. Thanks. Sue Jozwiak
