Since the text-only versions of the technotes are within my electronic reach right now, I did a little test: cd ~ftp/pub/dts/aii/tn and then grep MacDraw */* Guess what: "MacDraw" occurs zero times in the current Apple II technical notes. The word "Figure" occurs 109 times (grep Figure */* | wc -l), and none of those were in the context of "figure deleted." I did some spot checks and found lots of actual figures, drawn with ASCII characters.
