What it does is it lets you have 3-5 or whatever peripherals connected to 1 slot. Of course, there is an external switch to select with peripheral you want to use for the time being. I not sure about this, but I think on some there are serial AND paralell ports on the back. I'd have to dig out the Nibble Magazine, but I don't think they are that old. The Dougger says...
