After 3 months or trouble free use the Quantum 80 MB hard disk in
my Mac IIcx has started to give me problems. Periodically it will
just refuse to boot from the hard disk. I have noticed many messages
on comp.sys.mac regarding similar problems. Information in the UK
seems to be thin on the ground - my local dealer is only aware of
problems with the 40 MB drives.

I would greatly appreciate any summaries of problems with Quantum
80 MB hard disks and a copy of JIM KATELEYS (APPLE) STATEMENT
which we didn't receive in the UK.
