Periodically it will just refuse to boot from the hard disk. I have noticed many messages on comp.sys.mac regarding similar problems. Information in the UK seems to be thin on the ground - my local dealer is only aware of problems with the 40 MB drives. I would greatly appreciate any summaries of problems with Quantum 80 MB hard disks and a copy of JIM KATELEYS (APPLE) STATEMENT which we didn't receive in the UK. Many thanks, John R.
