Virden This is not entirely correct. Tech Alliance (owner of CALL A.P.P.L.E.) says that it will continue to take orders for items still in stock. The future of the public domain s/w library is up in the air, but it looks like it will go to the sig groups, (ie. IIgs lib. to IIgs sig group.) If this is the case, and anyone wants some thing from the library, let me know and I'll get back to you on how/if you can get it. Tech Alliance is currently going through some changes. Partly because of the "changing world of computing" and partly because of profit losses. I believe it will be for the better. They are moving back to the "core group of experts interested in getting the most from the machine". This means a little smaller (with less extra's) and more good ol' volunteers. I don't think it is "the beginning of the end", but rather just regrouping. (note: my only affiliation to Tech Alliance is as a co-op member.) +-----------------------------------------------------------+ | I heard some where IBM stood for "I've Been Mugged"... | | Phil Lindberg snail mail: 13845 S.E. 131 ST | | UUCP: ..!uunet!bcstec!tahoma!prl3546 Renton, WA 98056 | | Disclaimer: I don't speak for my employer (and I not | | sure they even know I exist....) | +-----------------------------------------------------------+
