My 520-keyboard did the same after 2 years of use. Cleaning the contacts didn't solve the problem. Replacing the 40-pin socket for the 6301 processor did solve the problem. If You do not dare to un-solder the socket, try to pull out the processor, plug a gold-plated (expensive) socket in and plug the processor to that.
