I've had a very faithful DeskJet since August of 1988 (that is 1988) and have had no problems at all with the plastics of the box. However, I notice that there is not even a millimetre clearance of the ink cartridge holder guard and the lip of the DeskJet top. Could it be possible that Frans van Hoesel's top is slightly warped?
