Lines: 23 We're currently looking for fast backup/archiving media to connect to our HP9000/370 running HP-UX 6.5. We came up with two alternatives: 1) Rewritable optical disk (random access, expensive) 2) Exabyte video tape (rather cheap, no random access) Our server has a HP98265A SCSI interface, as well as a high-speed HP-IB interface. I've read about the HP6300 model 650A rewritable optical disk and I assume I can hookup that one without much trouble (it's HP supported, right ?!?), but how about the Exabyte ???? Anybody out there having any experience with this animal ??? --[ Edwin ]-- -- Edwin Kremer, Department of Computer Science, University of Utrecht Padualaan 14, P.O.
