Getting Prodigy is like paying for a mail order catalog. That's the quality and nature of Prodigy. There is heavy empahsis on buying things, you get constant ads on the bottom of your screen and there are very few forums for talking. Think of it as nothing but groups like comp.newprod. Compuserve is much like the net except that 1. You pay for it. Expect to spend $100-$300 a month if you are actively using it. 2. The people there are much, much, much nicer. Flaming is almost non-existent in the forums I participate in and flamers tend to be quickly shut off.
