I just became the new ownwer of an ancient printer, the Radio Shack
TRS 80 Line Printer V. The problem is that when I print a file, it
gives two carriage returns for every one in the text.

According to the manual, there aren't any dip switches. I think that 
there must be some control characters that I need to send to the 
printer to print properly.

Does anybody else have this dinosaur? Any ideas on how to make it print
properly? It seems like a really fast printer and I would like to have it
printing without the extra spaces. Please email solutions.
