We purchased a Northgate "SuperMicro 286" around 6 months ago. At the time Northgate was marketing the machine as their fastest 286 ever - and faster than the other vendors. I was disappointed that they were really running this 16 mhz 0 wait state board at 20 mhz with 1 wait state. Their turn around for replacement parts is overnight (except in the case of the motherboard). Northgate stands behind their products - but then that might explain why their prices are on the high side.
