Thanks to those who responded to my question. My experience (with my XT clone) is: I installed a Toshiba 720 KB internal floppy drive in the disk drive slot. Then I connected the cable from the floppy controller (which resides on my multifunction card, it can be used with up to two low density drives, 360KB or 720KB). And got a hold of DOS 3.3 (or higher), add one line device=d /1 in the config.sys file. It's done. If you have any question, I'd be glad to share more detail with you. Dingkai
