I used the Universal Floppy Controller from Northgate -- costs $99.00 plus shipping. I hooked it up to a Teac drive. It works fine, since it has bios built into it. I'm using it as my primary controller, and it will control up to four drives (360, 720, 1.2 and 1.44), internal and external. If you have dos 3.3, you can use it without any special software (except for the format command -- they've included a replacement for the Dos version, and it works fine). They've included software if you don't have Dos 3.3. I'm pretty happy with it. Mike Palmquist Department of English Carnegie Mellon University mp2k@andrew.cmu.edu voice: 412/268-5636
