I prefer my RT over the last large machine [ Plexus P/95 ] I had available to do development on. There are a few things I'd -like- to have. Like three 310MB internal EESDIs instead of the #$*^%&@ 440MB SCSI I've had so much trouble with lately. Three E70s and a 9332/440 do not cut it. RTs come in a variety of shapes and sizes. I could imagine being quite disgusted with a ROMP desktop, 4MB, and a M44. On the other hand, a 135, 3 E310s, a megapel, and 16MB fast ram would keep me [ and xfish ;-) ] happy for a long, long time. Getting the right CPU is a big factor. ROMPs all need to be heaved. Next is LOTS of RAM and several big, fast disks. -- John F.
