I have a beta version of Red Ryder Host 11.0 which of course, i really shouldn't have, and i must set my clock a year earlier so it will work, but nevertheless, it is an excellent program. But in response to your post, RRH 11 has a method for CONFIGURING the modem command to your type of modem. It will probably help if you have some kind of documentation for the dumb modem you are using, and you'll also have to wait for this general release... but relax... there IS HOPE :-) (speaking of RRH, see my next article...) -- ============================================================================== (.)
