As an owner of a Quantum 40mb hard disk, I recently got zapped.
I bought the drive from MicroTech - they shipped the disk back in
under 48 hours, managed to save all of my data, and replaced all of
the hard disk mechanism.  They give a 5 year warranty and the lowest
price I have seen on hard drives.

My only association with MicroTech is as a customer.  They have a loyal
customer now.  Their 800 tech support line was very helpful.  I highly
recommend them to anyone looking for a Quantum drive at rock bottom prices
with top notch support.
