   My office is on the third floor, and the LaserWriter is in the
basement.  When I try to do manual feed printing (using Word 4.0),
this is what happens:  I tell the machine to print, I rush downstairs,
I stick my paper in the LaserWriter, and the LaserWriter does nothing.
Alternatively, I go downstairs and put a sheet of paper in the printer,
I go upstairs and give the print command, I rush back downstairs, and
I find that the first page has printed but the LaserWriter won't accept
paper for and won't print any further pages.  In both these cases, when
I get back upstairs Word continues as if the printing has been completed.

   I called the folks at Microsoft to ask what's going on, and they said
they thought that either the System (I'm using 6.0.2) or the LaserWriter
driver was imposing a time limit on manual feed and I'm getting beaten
by the clock.  I have the following questions:

   (i)  Why don't I get a dialog informing me that my printing has been
        cancelled?
  (ii)  Is there a way to reset the time limit (if that's really what's
        interfering with the printing)?
 (iii)  Why doesn't my employer just give me a LaserWriter in my office?

   Any information on this will be appreciated.
