The only thing that you will not be able to do (for obvious reasons) is have MP/MPII dial for you. All other aspects of the application are functional (including scripting and xfers). For general information, all of the commercial comm programs will also work with this modem, they just won't dial it. You may want to be careful about SmartCom II as it does not like 'direct connect' mode (it has modes, the others don't) and will not give you access to some funcionality.
