(The Reliasys is basically a FAX machine which connects to a Mac via cable and allows sending of FAXes directly from the machine, without an intermediate printing step. When a FAX comes in, however, it prints to the usual coated paper instead of to the computer, which the various card and standalone faxmodem products do. I haven't used one, but I'll be checking one out for a future purchase.)
