I have, and last week I found one locally at around 9pm in the evening in a garage on a farm, went to visit at midnight, and got my 2 zinged power-supplies fixed by 2am. nothing like a friendly hardware-hacker with a parts-supply who does these things for a living for the stores in the area and who, like me, seems to come alive at night... I asked him and he is willing to do similar services for my netfriends that I'd care to refer to him. Given my experience, I know you'll be pleased by the cost, which shipping included can run anywhere between $50 and $90, depending on parts needed ... make a note of his phone-number (512)345-4339 and tell him that you are one of Werner's Usenet friends (just so he knows how you found out about him, and so you get the best price - which I insisted on as it is business generated at no advertising cost to him - an argument I have used on several businesses which I then told the net about). Otherwise, I am only a satisfied customer and have no other contact or connection to whatever repair deal you might make - and the only people I am willing to help with repair arrangements are netfolks who live in the far corners of the world and have to deal with special problems such as customs and long-distance shipping. Why? I've lived in the jungle and the island and the oil-camp and wished there had been computer networks then to find a "netfriend" willing to help with such hassles ...
