It seems as though our Unix system has developed an illness that causes it to "faint" quite often. The doctors fro DEC are coming to take a look at it. It seems that there is another side effect -- incurable "hiccups." This machine sends so many Control-S's to my Mac that everything locks up (actually, just beeps until I get sick of it and kill the connection). So, hopefully DEC will bring the right vaccine and we will be back in business this weekend. (But don't count on it.) -Michael p.s.
