I am in a situation where I use a Macintosh at home, but I want to print
using a LaserWriter connected to a Unix system. I downloaded the macps
program from an ftp source, but I can NOT get it to work.

Repeatedly I have gone through the instructions, and followed all the steps
necessary to get it to work. Yet, everytime I attempt to print, It either
doesn't print at all, or it spits out a blank page. Yet, i dont get any
errors, and it "appears" to work.

Can anyone help me? Has anyone had any luck? Is the author out there?
