I come from the MS/DOS and DEC-VMS world and this is exactly why I hate it. Your ideas are *really* Mac-Like: New, different and BETTER. I have to regularly update several hundreds of Mac files in a couple of folders and have to include the version info even into the folder name! What I fear however is, that Apple already has decided how system 7.0 will look like and that this idea won't benefit us. Maybe with system 8.0 or even later, when IBM, Microsoft and NeXT have it...
