I want to be able to make movies -- i.e. generate moving pictures with sound. General question: Are there any commercial or public domain tools for movie making? Specific questions (keep in mind my ignorance). How are people doing animation on the MAC? I saw the short note on Sumex. How can I take the output of a paint program or scanner and convert it to something that copybits will like? I would also like to use color. How can I record sound into the MAC and then play it? The play code would need to be source so that I could integrate it into a larger program. Thanks for any information. -david (try neves@cs.wisc.edu if above address fails) The Institute for The Learning Sciences 1890 Maple St., Evanston, Il. 60201 neves@ils.nwu.edu (312) 491-7178
