Message-ID: <51978@tiger.oxy.edu> Date: 5 Oct 89 19:27:36 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: Occidental College, Los Angeles, CA 90041 Lines: 16 I was just wondering, does anyone have any ideas why I'm getting a particular crash: I have a DA that loads a code resource (into the system heap, nonpurgable, detached and locked). Then the code makes this call: myMenu = NewMenu(myMenuID,"\pWindows"); This all works. However, any further use of the MenuHandle myMenu causes Macsbug to yield an "ILGL" err. For example, the call to AppendMenu(myMenu,"\pFrontWindow"); is lethal. Out of desperation I've HLock'd and HNoPurge'd the MenuHandle--all to no avail. Anyone know what might be the problem? I am as much curious as I am needy of any answers. Thanks, Ando. _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- Ando Sonenblick.
