At first it was just hanging before odmach was loaded. I installed a fresh copy of odmach and now things progress further, but not completely. Currently, the boot process only proceeds to the point where the console displays the following lines: (Everything is normal looking before this.) ... root on od0 master cpu at slot 0 setting hostname to localhost After this, I believe init starts running but the only message I see after the "setting hostname" message is two blank lines and "boot_rc". Then the OD seeks, prints "boot_rc" again, and repeats the process. Any clues? The rc files all seem to be intact. The etc -> private/etc link is in place. The init program on disk was okay, but I did replace it with a fresh copy too. (The link /etc/init -> /usr/etc/init is also still in place.) Any help before I simply use BuildDisk to rebuild the whole OD?
