Subject: NFS Daemons in D state

We have had several occassions when our NFS daemons have gone into
D state. We have had no other solution than to reboot the system.

Does anyone know what causes this and how to recover without rebooting ?

(Pyramid 9825, OSx4.4 .. but also happened with OSx 4.0)
