Message-ID: <645@pbseps.UUCP> Date: 9 Oct 89 20:25:28 GMT Organization: Pacific Bell Separations, San Francisco, CA Lines: 20 Since I made public my beef with Sequent when they wern't fixing our problems with the "lp" spooler, I should also let you know that they FIXED it. After getting only cursory response from Sequent on help calls and a Usenet posting I sent a letter to their CEO -- that got attention -- he reads "bugmail" too I wass told. They assigned the problem to "engineering" found a number of problems and issued a "fix". Unfortunatly, the "fix" didn't work on our machine. Next, Sequent had two software engineers (is that the same as a programmer) here on-site for a full day. They located three bugs and nailed the problems we had been having. We have been running the fix for a month with NO further problems. I understand it will be in the next release of DYNIX.
