Anyway, I am looking for a way to be able to search through all the new articles (preferably in groups that I subscribe to as well as ones that I don't) for a certain string. When it finds an article with that string I want to save the article to a file and then junk that article. I could probably write some sort of shell script but I want to see what I can do in rn first. Also, does anyone know of any good sources of information for rn other than the man page? I consider myself to be at an average level but I would like to learn more about controlling this beast. Thanks a lot, Jon -- _____________________________________________________________________________ |Jon Granrose | ARPA: odin@ucscb.UCSC.EDU |CIS: 74036,3241| // Only | |Cowell College, UCSC | UUCP: ...!ucbvax!ucscc!ucscb!odin |\X/ Amiga!| |Santa Cruz, CA 95064 |Bitnet: odin%ucscb.ucsc.edu@cunyvm.bitnet ~~~~~~~~~~| |"A mind is a terrible thing"|"Remember, no matter where you go there you are"| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
