I am running GNUemacs under X, and prefer inverse video i.e., white on
black.  Unfortunately, emacs ignores the -rv and background:black, 
foreground:white directives.  Is there a way to tell emacs to run in 
inverse video?  Please send replies directly to me; I don't usually read
this group.
