Message-ID: Date: 10 Oct 89 04:16:19 GMT Sender: news@brunix.UUCP Distribution: comp Organization: Cognitive Science Lab. Princeton University. Lines: 15 I'm thinking if it is worth it to get a prom-bootable (vs. network bootable) NCD16. Suppose, I'm getting a 1.5 meg NCD16, would it make a significant difference in performance in getting prom-bootable NCD16 ? Another thing that concerns me is about X11R4 -- i.e. if the protocol will be significantly different then I'm worried that I'll need to spend money again on the prom-bootable NCD16. If it is not significantly different then I may not have to worry this too much since I'm just talking about 1 NCD16 and not tens or hundreds. Any ponters/advices would be much appreciated. -- Eric Ho Princeton University eho@confidence.princeton.edu
