Lines: 17 I see from my mail (the article hasn't arrived yet) that Kit@athena (Chris Peterson) "Bleh"'d my code to get the text from an TextWidget and suggested using XtGetValues(). ONE little problem. On a Sun386i, with R2, at least, NONE of the normal solutions, including what Chris suggested, came even remotely close to working. The only reason I spent a day deeply enough in the bowels of the TextWidget to find the calls I eventually used was because nothing else worked. I agree with Chris - if it works now, do it right.
