The only solution that we were able to come up with was to run a "dumb"
ascii terminal beside our high zoot graphics display.  We'd start the
debugger in the terminal and point the program at the display.  It may
not be flashy but it was cheap (ascii terminals are a dime a dozen
anymore) and it worked.
