I have a copy of a port of gcc, gas, gld, gdb plus a lot of GNU utilities for the 80960CA written by Intel, so I would not bother if I were you. If you want a copy, you can send a QIC to the address in my signature and I will write it on a Sun 3/60, or my Tadpole 68030 system with Tandberg 3620 drive. Also, somebody asked earlier about anyone thinking of doing a 68040 back end. I am just about to start hacking a -m{c}68040 switch into our trusty Gcc 1.34 port, so any hints, tips etc. would be appreciated. When I am happy with my work I will fit it onto a copy of the latest version of Gcc that I have (currently 1.36) and send it to any interested parties (rms?).
