Could some kind soul tell me, if gcc compiler: a) works under UNIX V.3.2 ? b) if yes - can it use SysV native libraries? I.e. will I be able to use ALL the gcc, and will its output be compatible with the SysV object file format? c) if both previous were asnwered "yes" - how can I install it on my machine? Just get the distribution, read all the proper README files and run the shell script needed? If it's not that easy - could you hive a hand in that? Thank you (and sorry for such questions - but I really don't know who else to ask). Uri. ------------
