It is faster and allows you to SELECT which articles you want to read (rather than just presenting you with all of them and making you skip the trash, after half reading it).l It also orders articles by subject and posting date (not arrival date). The source for 'nn' should be available from your nearest archive site for the comp.sources.unix newsgroup (and other places too).
