I  plan  to  spend four days in Lake  Charles,  La.  this  month, 
10/26/89 to 10/30/89. Does anyone know of places to bird there?
I am aware of the Sabine Wild life preserve and intend to spend
at least a half day there but would like to hit a few spots that
would be good for birds other than water related. Anyone know the
area and have any suggestions?  Also does anyone know if there is 
a local hotline number.

Any  info will be appreciated.  Will try and post a list  when  I 
get back.
