Martini Ranch's song "Richard Cory" incorporates the poem "Richard Cory" by E.A. Robinson with their own lyrics. Anne Clark's song "This Be The Verse" gets its lyrics from a Philip Larkin poem of the same name. Mike Oldfield has Maddy Prior of Steeleye Span singing the poem "Hiawatha" (author's name temporarily eludes me) somewhere on the album "Incantations." +---------------------- Is there any ESCAPE from NOISE? --------------------+ | | |\ | jsd@gaffa.mit.edu | "A man's home is his coffin." | | \|on |/rukman | jsd@umass.bitnet | - Al Bundy | +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
