We are looking for a babysitter/housekeeper and would like some advice
on the best way of finding a good person.  We were thinking of hiring
someone for 4 days a week. I take the children (2 girls - 2 yrs. & 6 mo.)
out 2 of these mornings so the person could do the house cleaning during
that time.  We phoned a number of agencies who want a $600-$800 placement
fee.  We felt there must be a better method of finding someone.  If you
have advice or experience we would appreciate hearing from you.
