I have a rather odd request, and am hoping that someone out there can supply me with the answer. What I need to know, is what uucp actually _DOES_ to `trade' information (mail, news, etc.) with another system. As in, what transfer protocol it uses, what character(s) it sends to signify `begin sending message', and 'begin recieving message', and 'I'm all done. You finish off now'. And a basic `tutor' on what makes uucp tick. Please reply via Private mail. All help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance...
