Does anyone have any fixes for timed (4.2) that will cause it to operate
correctly under SUNOS 4.0?  My daemon seems to periodically want to take
over the world and broadcast a zillion packets onto the net.  I would
appreciate any help that could be provided.  Thanks,

P.S.  NTP is not a viable option for me because it would be a non-trivial
      port to SGI's IRIX.
