I asked for advice a week or so ago to no avail.  Is there no one out
there who has straddled the DOS/Unix database fence?  I am heading a
new database project that will need multitasking, multiuser, and also
be able to talk to an IBM series 1 and AS/400.  Can someone suggest a
language to use under Unix?  We are basically a Clipper (dBASEIII+)
shop, so if we could find something using a similar syntax, it would
be nice.  Hello out there?
