	At our university we considering a fiberoptic backbone based on
	ethernet. The two systems we are currently investigating is LANNET's
	MULTINET and HIRSCHMANN starcouplers. Both systems are modular and
	active.

	I would very much like to have references and user experiences
	with MULTINET since it's the system I most unfamiliar with.
