I am familiar with the family of DOS hardware for image processing such as TrueVision, etc., but I am considering the pros and cons of such work in the UNIX world. This research is starting at step one. I have no idea about the hardware necessary for such work on workstations nor the software that is available. However, I am very familiar with Sun Workstations and such. If you can provide me with any information and experience, please reply via email.
