Specifically I have finite element meshes which are to be repaired. The elements are tetras &triangles. I have seen a couple of 2D mesh editing tools I-DEAS, LabLib to name a few. I am using the Silicon Graphics system and I have come up with a crude 2D mesh editing program. I would like to add new nodes, delete some, move the nodes and connect them to form elements. One of the ideas on which I am working on is to open 2 windows, one showing the XY plane and the other either the ZY orXZ plane. Alternately I could also use a slider bar for the Z. Are there any Silicon Graphics Gurus out here? I would appreciate any ideas/suggestions. In general if anyone could provide me any leads to any 3D editing tool it would be helpful. Thanks in advance. krish mohan mona@eleazar.dartmouth.edu
